Some specific numeric MARC tags may also be used in a command search (for example, 260a macon). A letter for the sub-field or numeric indicator must be included. Visit the MARC web site at the Library of Congress for information on fields and subfields. If used, type the four-letter code (or tag with subfield or indicator) before your search term:
TIP: Boolean operators (and, or, not) do not need to be typed in uppercase. Also, multi-word phrases (or numbers with hyphens) must be enclosed in quotations marks; for example:
